The system gives students a fantastic idea of a hands-on approach in the real world with mentors who have had the same experiences.
Montana Tech, never one to rest on it laurels is exploring options that will diversity its student body. The Society of Women Engineers has expressed great interest in helping to diversity the student body and encourage women in scientific studies, especially engineering. The society has contributed to the program both with mentorship and verbal support along with scholarship opportunities for students.

According to the same study, there will be a job waiting for every newly minted computer science graduate. Those with other technology-based degrees face a high level of recruitment immediately after graduation as well.
Last year, according to the Computing Research Association enrollment in undergraduate computer science programs increased by 9.6 percent in 2014. This number continues to increase, as demand continues to grow.
