Billings MSU Outreach Center to drive manufacturing

BILLINGS, Mont. — Manufacturers in eastern Montana are about to get some real-world experience and knowledge in the form of a new outreach from Montana State University (MSU) and a professional to collaborate efforts to assist manufacturers with all challenges including growth, innovation, efficiency, and technology.

MSU’s Montana Manufacturing Extension Center new city college office will serve the Billings area and the eastern part of the state. The center is coordinated by Alistair Stewart, who will work closely with MSU and the manufacturing sector to optimize performance.

One area of particular interest to Stewart is to work closely with the college’s resources to help optimize supply chains for oil field operations in Bakken.
